When Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett were traded to the Celtics, I didn’t believe it. My 2 favourite players would be joining forces as one along with Paul Pierce to become the unstoppable big 3.
It started when my uncle bought me a Ray Allen jersey. He became my favorite player. And then I saw Garnett. The sheer determination to bring his team to the finals. He was my inspiration.
Having being a 12 time all-star and not having ever won a championship, it had to be time. 12 years he waited before he finally lifted the trophy. The emotions swept through me. I was happy for him. This was the reason i like Garnett. He never gave up his dream. I supported him for 8 years. And he never came close to winning it. I stuck by him and now i feel great. There is no word to describe it.
The Celtics deserved it. Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Rajon Rondo, James Posey, Eddie House. All of you guys own all. After coming back in game 4 from a 24pt deficit to win the game 97-91, showed me that impossible is nothing and that when i’m down at times, i will think of you guys and never give up no matter the circumstances.
